Just enjoyed a day of prepping ground blinds for the final 3 weeks of deer season (archery) here in Eastern Ontario, Kanuckistan, and thought I'd share some pics of our dense bush.
Here's the start of my day - long hike across soy fields (i.e. deer crack) to bush:
Lots of blowdown and no signs of human activity.
Used a recently received Browning Barker/Crowell to clear shooting lanes and build-up the cover. Great feel and performance - I highly recommend.
Heading out tomorrow morning to see what tasty critters lurk in the 0 degree temperatures. Cheers
