Grove Hatchets (New York City)

My daughter is in Austin TX. She just found me a Grove hatchet in an antique store. Does anyone know anything about Grove hatchets?

I have a couple. They are common but I don't think I've ever seen a full size axe. Very hard steel. Don't know anything about the company.
