Small FBs continue to be an interest of mine lately, so I thought I'd post a few pix of the growing herd that includes my new Alan Davis FB just arrived this week. It's the green micarta & stonewashed O1 blade. The two Alan Davis knives are about 6 12/" OAL with 2 1/2" blades, but the green mic knife is much slimmer. Perfect for riding under a t-shirt or tank top in the summer. The "stripe" on the green mic handle is just a bit of sewing machine oil that I used on the blade after I washed it this morning. It helped cook breakfast at church for the guys who are manning the B-B-Q pit for tonight's B-B-Q & bluegrass "gatherin'". The small stag FB is one of his misery whip saw blade (probably something like L6) knives. Alan also make really cool little leather sheaths for these FBs. They're set up for RH crossdraw from the left side and they can be put on and removed without loosening your belt. There's a pic toward the bottom that shows how he does it. The belt loop is open at the bottom, but it's "weighted" with a thick block of leather that acts as a hook when you loop it over your belt. Very secure and easy to manage.

The larger bushcraft looking FB is by Harry from Twin Blades in Statesboro, GA. It's 8 1/2" OAL with a 4" blade of S30V. I've had this one for several years and it's gone quite a few places with me. Harry's sheath is also usable without removing your belt.
