Got a call from Alica at Bob Dozier Knives on 9/1/06 telling me my custom ordered KS-7 Wilderness Knife was shipping that day. WOW, that is cool since I just ordered it on 7/21/06 and was told I would see it in Nov. or Dec.
This will be my 5th. Dozier and I will post a picture here of the whole family when it gets here next week.
I love those guys and gals at Dozier!

You got your order ahead of schedule?

Cool! I have three Doziers on order, and I was told I would get them in December. I already paid two of them off, so the sooner I get them, the better. I don't have to save up or anything.

Can't wait to see your family pic. I took some shots of my 5 current Doziers and am waiting for my sister to Email them to me (it was her camera, and it doesn't work on my computer).

Hi,
I am a newbie looking into Dozier.

Can you help with me with these questions ?

What do you like about your Dozier ?
Feel, steel, blade shape, sharpness ?

Thanks.

Kckc,
Feel, steel, sharpness, fit and finish, Alicia on the phone, talked to Bob too but he does not like to answer the phone due to his poor hearing. They can customize any model to fit your desires and unlike Randalls you don't have to wait over 5 yrs.....maybe 4months but that is a big difference.

HAIR, yeah well ahead of schedule and I don't know why it got done so fast unless he was makeing more then one Wilderness knife at the time.

Pick one on his web site and see for yourself. They even have some models on hand and ready to ship the same day.

Love Doziers

I'm anxious to hear how you like it. All mine are smaller, but this one is tempting. I wasn't too sure if I wanted D2 in a blade of that size, but I've only heard good things about this knife.

KCkc, the Doziers are great knives. All of mine are 3.5 inch to 2.75 (or so). Very efficient cutters, keep their edge a long time, very easy to resharpen also. The handles, while a bit smooth, are very ergonomic and make long cutting tasks very easy. They are a great design.
