Odd. My new 630 the hex screw connecting the blade either keeps loosening or someting else isn't right cause when the blade closes it scraps aganst 1 side of the handle. I can tighten it but then it seems to loosen again, and rub the 1 side of the handle. Suggestions? I have not taken it apart yet, and cause it took me so long to get one, would rather not have to send it back to BM.

Seems like you just need some Loctite Threadlocker. The blue stuff should be just fine. You can find it at any hardware store. If you try this and it still doesn't help, give BM Customer Service a call and they'll take care of you.

Okay I will try that. Should I try taking it apart to see if there is any gunk in the thread to make it loose?

You should take it apart, if you are really sure you can stand a voided warranty. In that terms whatever you do, don´t talk about this too loud.

I guess something is wrong with the screw so go for a replacement. How can you stay with a 630 of minor quality??? I couldn´t even if it costs me € 50,00. It will, look where i am from.

I mean, if can´t stay a night or longer without it, keep it. But for a real 630, send it back.

The screw itself may be loctited and both parts of it are moving and this is causing you to get the rubbing. I would suggest you boil it in a pot of water for 5 to 6 minutes.......yes I said BOIL it :D This will help to break the loctite and will not harm the knife. Remove the screw, take apart, clean thouroghly, relube, and reassemble. You also need to run the screw into the pivot until it goes in and comes out smoothly.
