GRRR...!!! Sex offender next door

I was at my parents' house and saw a Sheriff issued notice on their fridge about a sex offender being new to the area. :grumpy: :barf: I looked closer at the photo.... Son-of-a-!!!!!!! It's the guy who just moved in next door to them with his girlfriend. :eek: :mad: :eek: :mad:

Is it wrong that every time I'm at my folks' now, I want to go over there and stomp a mud hole in his face??? :confused: ;)

Just had to rant for a second... :)
 
i would find out what his offense was since it could have involved an adult. if it involved a child, stomp him a new one :D

Are you able to look up his offense so you know his preferences?

At my old business I had dude did time for doing a 13 year old. He ran the tanning salon and I owned the reptile store next door. Reptiles means lots of kids. I posted his Megan's law webpage on our checkout counter so all the parents could know he was nearby. I also had a link to California's Megan's Law website on our store website.
 
In Washington, the notice they issue shows everything- actual offenses, convictions, trial dates, etc.

He likes to show his junk off to kids. Mostly young teenagers... boys and girls. So "thankfully" he's not a rapist or anything that bad, but he's still a pile of crap perve.

The worst one for us, was the low-life they notified us about when Angi was in her old apartment. A guy convicted of molesting and/or raping teenage girls moved into the neighborhood and Erin was 13 at the time. I wouldn't even let her go out to the car alone.

In all fairness, sometimes "sex offender" can be an unfair title... like the 18 year old kid who gets caught fooling around with his 17 year old girlfriend, her Dad files charges, and now that kid is labeled as an offender for life.

These guys I'm talking about, did things with kids, REPEATEDLY, and with several convictions. :mad:
 
I forgot to say that while this douche's offenses are not as sick as some... I worry that they are like a "gateway drug" for somebody with a warped brain... like stepping stones to doing something worse. Maybe that's unfair, but it's how I feel.

Colog, I used to think that for years, but I saw a guy on TV that had been castrated... but then he just used "things" to molest girls/women with since he couldn't use his own tooling. I think their problem isn't just in the little brain.
 
Hell; in Florida child porn is enough for life in prison without parole.

Personally I think child porn is a terrible crime, but not equal to first degree murder. If this guy had actually harmed a child his punishment would have been less. Pictures? LIFE!
 
Dammit, Nick...sorry to hear about that :mad: They oughta corral 'em all in their own twisted perv village with high walls and razor wire. There is no reason for any of these scumbags to be next door to good citizens. I don't care if they've "done their time" or not, there is quite a bit evidence to prove sickos like that are not curable.
 
In Michigan, urinating in public will get you on the registry. Nick....Just go flex at him...Make it clear you make large, sexy, sharp stuff and he would do best to not look in the direction of your parents house for fear of you tossing an anvil at his head.....If that doesn't work...step on his cubes :D
 
Lets keep it pulled back a bit ,guys. I am no friend of sex Offenders, but this is not the place to discuss your ideas on how to deal with them. I wouldn't want one of you to end up in the same cell as one of them.

FWIW, I had a friend who was a nature-boy hippie type who never grew out of the 60's. He, his wife, his kids, and any guests at his house swam nude in the pool....sometimes twenty or more people.....no big deal....heck, back in the 70's, I swam nude in his pool with everyone else at his parties. Well, his wife decides after 20+ years that she wants to move on down the road, and wants him out of the picture, so she tells the child welfare people that he repeatedly exposed himself to his ( now in college) daughters and coerced them to swim nude with him and other men - neglecting to mention that she was usually the first one buck naked and in the pool, yelling, "Come on girls, peel it off and jump in.".....and the girls were 3 and 5 the last time I remember them swimming with us. By the time all was checked out by the J&D and CPS people the whole thing was dropped, and he was not charged with anything. But, now he is a registered sex offender...that's right, you don't even have to be convicted...or even charged......just investigated.
He was told that he could appeal the registration and take it before a judge, but if he re-opened the case CPS could press charges and send him to prison for 10 to 20 years.


OK, enough of that. If you want to keep this going, I suggest it be moved to Whine and Cheese.
 
I'm afraid I'm with you Stacy, got no love for them, and if it was my kid I'd be a mite unreasonable as well.

That said I know someone who's wife tried something very similar to what you posted, except there was no nude swimming or anything like that. She then tried to drop the charges and the DA tried to push them any way. Long story short it ruined his life, marriage, job, he lost custody of his son and he nearly committed suicide before it was all straightened out, all because his wife made a phone call with no prof. It was an expensive battle for him to get off that list even after his wife admitted to lying, and I have no dought he'd have eaten a bullet if he hadn't.

No I don't think very many of them on the list are innocent. But our justice system is famous for letting the guilty go and frying the innocent. Doesn't happen often, but way more than it should, and most times because it's politicly covent, justice be damed. Long story short, I figure molesting kids should be capital offenses, just make damn sure there guilty first.
 
What you do, Nick, is bury your legs up to you knees in the ground and pretend you are a kid waiting for the bus..... wear a T-shirt that reads "Show Me Something Cool" and test his resolve. Is this thread in W&C yet?.... cuz I got more.....

I strongly encourage checking out their offenses first. We have a WWII vet here in town who is now a registered sex offender. He was Scoutmaster with the boy scouts for 20+ years. He ran the childrens' puppet troop at church. What did he do to now be a sex offender? He told a dirty joke to an eagle scout. The scout's mother(who is a clerk for the local police) found out and had him charged.

What a load of CRAP! One of the greatest people in our town is now a sex offender because he told an inappropriate joke to a minor. Perhaps society needs to rethink it's puritanical values.

I have seen pretty much the same thing happen to other scout leaders. One leader who had been a scoutmaster for 40 years ,with national recognition, was accused of being a child molester because he had a boy stay at his house overnight when they were leaving for an outing the next morning. The boys parents wanted to go away for the weekend and dropped him off themselves. A nosy neighbor thought that he was "funny" ,so she called the police. Why? , because - 1) he was a lifetime bachelor; 2) he went around dressed up like a kid in shorts and a boy scout shirt all the time ; 3) he always had young boys coming and going from his house. No charges......just a ruined reputation.....and a registry listing.

Now I realize all the things listed can be red flags, but they also can have normal and beneficial reasons.
