The scales are either corncob or pinecone, they were a mystery batch of slabs I'd received in trade.

What angles would you like, the other shots I have are of the same side and angle, just with different backgrounds.
 
That blade is one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time. Not that I have any chance of doing something like that anytime soon, but can you give any more details on how you did it?
