Today I took the covers off of a SAK Executive that I carried for some years. Not sure how many, could have been 10.
I "lost" it and bought a second one. Of course a week later I found the first. I carry the second because the first one has a chip in one cover.
I am preparing to do a mod with it and when I took the covers off today they were really grungy under them. The only SAKs that I have taken covers off of were new ones that I was modding.
Presumably this disgusting grunge is typical for an EDC SAK? Is there any way to minimize this? Soaking in soapy water? How about a water pick squirtin in all crevices, tooth pick & tweezer slots?
Or just resolve to accept it?
