(Sorry, I'd search this topic if I could)

Anyone have this knife? What's your take on it? Anyone tried to conceal a knife this size?

Thanks.

A few years ago this knife was very well thought of by some of the big names. It's a sound design as small defensive knives go. You could compare it to Spyderco's Perrin and Temperance. You should be able to conceal it under a jacket or shirt. Trying to hide any fixed blade in hot weather attire is difficult.

From what I've been told, it has been out of production for a few years. You might find one used though. I would also recommend the Perrin.

The Gryphon M10 is in the latest Cutlery Shoppe catalog. I carried my Spyderco Moran(almost the same blade length) today. Belt carry, strong side, reverse draw. I wore a t-shirt and hooded sweatshirt over it. It didn't print at all.

Moteng lists Gryphon knives. I think they have recently been produced again. It says the boot knife has a 4" blade of AUS-8. here is the pic they list:

I didn't realize this knife was around for awhile. I had seen it listed in Cutlery Shoppe's catalog. Looked like an excellent multi-purpose field/utility knife.

Yeah, welcome to my hell!!

I had one of those sweet knives. I sold it a while ago to a fellow forumite, and I'll bet my arse that he still has it. That little knife was as perfect as any factory knife I have ever seen! The steel was ATS34 though. Get one if you can find one, as they are great knives.
