I think they only refer to titanium as a colour scheme, not metal content.

"finished off in titanium" -- yeah, some advertisers consider "titanium" to be a color. In the jewelry business some advertisers consider "antique gold" to be a color -- likewise "emerald," "sapphire," etc....
