I recently got a few more of these stainless steel cups which nest on the bottom of Nalgene bottles. They are making them smaller, and it takes Hercules to get one on and off the Nalgene bottle. Just a warning if you get one, make sure and try it...
 
I thought that they are making the bottles bigger. I have some new bottles that are really tight, My old bottles are fine and the cups are a few years old.
 
They may be, but you can put the cups mouth to mouth and see a noticeable difference.
 
Possibly a change in vendors for the cups and the new manufacturer didn't quite hit the specs. Write the company and ask, most companies want their customers to be as happy as possible with their products.
 
I went to Bass Pro Shop one day and the cup they had there would fit the Nalgene bottles made from HDPE but not from Lexan. I went back some time later and the cups were able to fit the Nalgene bottles made from Lexan.

Before you buy a cup grab one of the bottles next to it and see if it will fit. The cup is great for cooking.
