hey guys. so ive got some survive knives, the gso 3.5, 4.1 and 5.1. on the 4.1 i can switch positions on the screws so that it carries "scout" style (horizontal) on the belt. with these i mean like the sagewood leather sheath that comes with scout style carry. but the sheaths for the 3.5 and 5.1 this is not possible. the distance between the screw holes doesnt fit the belt clip. is this common? i bought these from www.lamnia.fi

happy christmas and new year

Have you tried one of these? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COKvk-AcNzk

The kit is relatively cheap and works with any of the S!K models (and other brands/sheaths as well), suits many angles of carry, also is height adjustable, and if you don't want the extension piece on there for horizontal-carry, you can use just the leather belt-loop.

yeah nice solution. ill think about that one. but was wondering if other ppl have the same problem with their 3.5. and 5.1 sheats.

I've never heard of the Lamnia site, but it is awesome that they carry S!K products, not many places do.

From seeing pics and talking to others, I was under the impression that smaller blades up to, at least, the 5.1 could be screwed in to be carried scout style. Can any GSO owners back me up on this?

I was surprised by your problem, so I hope you get a helpful answer!
