If anyone has both and would like to share some comparison pics that would be great!

I have a 6 on order and trying to decide whether or not i should (when possible of course) get a 7/7 also.

If you have both and would like to also share which you prefer between the two, that would also be great help. Thanks!

I do not have a GSO 6, but it is on preorder. I do have the GSO 7 with a false ground swedge. As such, it is more of a fighter than a survival only knife. I have this knife mom Ted inverted on my load bearing vest. My thoughts regarding it is that it is too large to carry on my belt routinely while working around the property or in the woods, but it is a very good size for general camp chores. The picture below sort of shows how it compares to the GSO 5.1 and the GSO 10.

McVeyMac! Glad to see you back! You and OBX have, what I think are, the two best family collections I've seen

I have both and prefer the 7/7 because of the choil. You can't go wrong with either and with the new handles you'll be able to get more control with the new 6 vs the old one.
