Gso 7/7 stock?

Hey just wondering if anyone knows or could estimate when the 7/7 may be in stock again? Is there a standard time after the pre-orders are over that survive knives seem to be able again?

Side-note: ordering a 6 tomorrow, cannot wait to finalize it all!

Hard to say about the 7/7. The SURVIVE! team keeps having to give less and less time information because a lot of customers try holding them to general predictions.

Who can correct me? Did the 5.1 take 6 months from start of production to the first starter orders going out or was it longer than that? Since the 7/7 is starting to get cut now, I'd say to plan on 6-12 months until starter orders are shipped and small batches for Mondays are sharpened and ready to sell.

Hmm...... not a very specific answer, but maybe it will give you at least a little more of an idea.

It is a tough one to answer. When all is going according to plan, it takes about 3 months for steel sheets to become GSO-7/7s. Things rarely go according to plan since there are several steps and people involved in the process. These runs are taking a bit longer because they are the first runs. The sheaths can't be made until after there is a blade and a handle to template off of. In the future the template knives will already exist so we will be able to order sheaths in advance.

Then, we need to QC, finish, QC, engrave, QC, sharpen, QC, build, QC, pack and ship for the GSO-7/7 preorders. Once those are all out the GSO-7/7 will be available for regular ordering.

I can't say how long it will take for us to get preorders fulfilled because we are also going to be working on preorders from other models, as well as regular orders for other models. As long as there are preorders to fulfill we will be doing our best to balance between them and regular orders. That way folks who weren't able to get in on the preorder can still get the knife they want, without having to wait months for the preorders to be finished up.
