just put in my order for the GSO 8, anyone else? Do we have any kind of time line on when they will be in hand?

I think the production order for the post-starter knives (4.5, 6, 8, 10) will probably be by demand, like they did for the starter knives. Unless there's some other factors I'm not thinking of. I wonder if they have any order numbers yet they'd be willing to share. Probably a bit too early with how many starters remain.

They've mentioned the SK series a few times here and there, so maybe we'll get some of those thrown in. Sounded like they had blades, just not time. Hopefully the new guy (Christian right?) is working out well for them.
 
I have a false ground 7/7 that is a nifty tactical fighter and good all around knife that I carry upside down on a load bearing vest. It carries with ease, and after the 4 loaded 30 round M4 and two Glock .40 S&W 13 rd. magazines and other accoutrements, it is hardly noticeable. I also have an 8 on order because there are times when something lighter than the 10 is desirable to me, and the 7/7 stays on the vest for the time being. I expect that the 8 will be a formidable knife that will rarely if ever see any belt time, but it is a smaller and lighter pack mount option then the 10.

That was the way I read it on the production page, too. Those four blades are definitely farther down the list.

I'm good with that, especially since the idea of the GSO 8 has gone from concept to design to preorder in less time than I've frequented this subforum. Of course, if Guy would like to assign Christian the GSO 8 as top priority, you wouldn't hear me complain......... :D :)
 
Just talked to the guys and they have 4 in pre production and which ever has the most wants will be made first! So let's go boys and order your 8!!!!!!!
 
No ferro notch. The sharp spine should be good enough (I hope)...
Only problem is that it might take a while to get them
The wait is unbearable...

Congrats on 2 of them! I keep going back and forth between the bone linen and the jade scales but I think you're onto something here with getting both!
 
pass this thread on to friends and order a GSO 8, lets let them know what is the next knife they should make!
