Hi Everyone.

I need Some advice on Market Value on GTC.
what would be the Cutoff that i shuld pay for say a Plasma? Of all the Knives i have seen that i wish to aquire, Is paying $2500-3000 Worth it? Nothing Else I have my Eyes Set on is over $2000.00

Also I see He has a disclaimer posted on His website about alot of fake over the net, how to I tell the real ones?

I have been looking at prices on Arizona Custom Knives and wander if those prices are over the top?

The prices for his knives seem to be dropping as of late. I'd wait a couple of months to see if you can get one for the $1500-2000 range.

The online dealers' prices are always quite a bit higher than the secondary market, by the way. You could probably find one lightly used for the $1500-2000 range these days if you're quick.

As far as "worth it", $2500-3000 is a lot of money and personally I think there are a lot more interesting, useful, and historically significant knives to be had for that price. At that price, you're almost in the market for a Walker or a Loveless. Or you could commission a bespoke piece with amazing quality and materials from a custom maker.

This is spot on.

Gus started his prices really really high & there is a guy that gets a lot of them that has bumped the prices up. They haven't sold, so his prices have been dropping. I like the GTCs, especially the new SLT system, but honestly I feel they need to be in the $1500 range. You can get a custom made flipper with inserts, exotic materials & full contouring for way less.
 
This sounds Pleasing.
this gives me a basis on how much I would need to save for one. I was really iffy on having to fork out 3k.
