Yvsa talked of naming the Scagel style bowie the Cherokee rose.
Then I went to a local powwow I haven't gone to in years and spotted a 4" diameter belt buckle that was completely done in seed beads. I bought it.
Later I realized it had significance to a mystical experience I'd had almost 15 years ago ( 2PM 5/13/87 ) when I stood in the middle of the reservation and felt heat/light/fire unthaw and make my heart/soul burst into full bloom like time lapse photograhy of a rose budding and opening into full blossom.
Any way, this is a blue Shoshone rose, and a mandella like you see fancy dancers wear on their foreheads in their regalia, only on a belt buckle.
An icon which symbolically reminds me to try to live in that state daily. To reach out to others in lovingkindness and charity ( while keeping the 41 mag. in my other hand leveled on 'em under the table ). Sorry for the touchy feely response, but you asked that's only way I can think of off hand to answer honestly.
Bill will get it up and you'll see. Rusty.
PS: do these things after your second cup of coffee instead of your second Heineken and see if that helps make posting pictures easier, Unc.
