When we started offering village models we said we would guarantee the blade but not the handle. Just in case anybody does not know by now HI guarantees the entire khukuri, including handle. If the handle cracks we'll refund your money, we'll repair it or replace the knife if you don't want to deal with the epoxy yourself.
Same now goes for the village models. Thus far we have had only one handle failure which we replaced -- this out of maybe 150 khukuris. One handle out of 150 we can live with.
So, we honored the HI guarantee even though we said we would not but now let's make it official. Any village model that we say carries the HI guarantee is guaranteed in full -- handle and all.
