guard on the Project 1 and 2

i dont own one of these but i do have a shadow 1 and 2 and from the pics ive seen around it looks like the guard on the projects are a little wider than the other fixed blades

Yes, the guards are slightly wider (maybe an extra 2 or 3 mm).

The more significant difference is the flat spot on the left hand side of the guard: so you can tell left from right (up from down) in the dark. A very
useful alteration to the design.
