Here's the next one done.......

Forged from 1075
Clay quenched
8 1/2" overall, 4" from tip to "guard"
.190" thick at the ricasso
Heavily rounded spine and ricasso edge
Twist damascus collars with coined spacer
Desert ironwood handle

The finial nut is temporary as the one that will go on it is somewhere on my shop floor and will likely warrant that I make a new one. :)

Thats a great looking hunter for sure but your right that nut or screw in your photo just does'nt do that piece justice.

That piece is stunningly perfect! I love everything you've done to it! Great WorK

I love it when it's as easy to look at it as a piece of sculpture as a "knife".
It's just candy for the eye, everything about it works with every other part.
And that banged up nut makes an artistic, existential statement about impermanence....just kidding...
