According to Sgt. Khadka Gudhane Khukuris are made in Rana kalin kings period for gift/ souvenir purpose. The two small tools Nashdadani are used for multipurpose usage for ear and hair.

Could this be done in a everyday user, no engraving no fancy handle?
 
WOW, Sgt Khadka is a true artist as well as a soldier.
The center cartouche in the mandala has one face looking left then another when you look at both eyes. The dragon even has bubbles and is alive. What a clever way to store the ear cleaner and hair plucker. Wonderful white metal and beautiful horn scabbard...I would be speechless if I could shut my yap...:)
