Just got this fella the other day and was horrified to see that the etching is reversed on it. What in the heck am I gonna do now ?

laugh it off!
OR I'm sure you could resell it for a profit, people LOVE oddities! :D

Keep it my friend, I agree that it is now a one in a million keeper... I have a Schatt & Morgan File & Wire that was totally missed at the etching machine, I was miffed at first but those all around me convinced me that I now had a very special one of a kind blade...

Yeah, I know. I'm just showin' off. Got it on Ebay. The photo the seller had of it sort of hid the reverse etch. Somehow, I managed to spot it. :D
If the etching would have been clear to see, I probably would have had to pay more for it.

Actually Greg, it's junk!! Just send it to me; I do knife re-cycling!:p ;) :D :p ;) :D

I bid on that one, and noted that you won it. I didn't see the reverse etch. :grumpy:

What a great find. Congratulations!

Toss it out, Greg...and try to wipe your memory clean of it's existence. It's a freak....kill it ! :D

It'll probably end up being valuable ???

-My best

Hey yeah! Keep it shaving sharp!! You'll always know what you are using; just read the etch as you sha- - OUCH!

The Buffalo is going the wrong way now!! Great left handed knife though!!

Ah, the Cripple Creek Mirror Knife, I know it well. You must only use it in front of a mirror. :)

An interesting oddity with added value. I wonder how many were produced before the operator realised his silk screen was the wrong way up. In England we look for faulty postage stamps and banknotes. They all fetch a fortune at auction.

It is almost identical to a Schrade Uncle Henry that I found in my wife's father's tool box.
