Fascinating! It appears that one of the blades is damaged. I'm going to continue with the shooting with the lights out and guess that it's...some kind of PAL or Remington? This isn't a guess, just deranged speculation.

Originally I was thinking it was a camillus (maybe) equal end JACK knife, but the orientation of the cutout and position of the small blade make me think it's probably a pen. I'm still not sure of the manufacturer

Okay....Here's a tidbit...nothing is broken on this knife.

Oh, of course. Its the screwdriver/bottleopener in the gap! It must be a Camillus bone handled scout pattern.

Oh! That last guess was a bit silly, the bottle opener looks like the edge on top is straight, and not curved at all, like a camillus would be.

This has to be it, a remington scouts knife, and this examle also has lined bolsters.

Huh, well this is unexpected! Thanks for doing the giveaway Markesharp, this is the first one that I have won, and I am thrilled! I'll have to get planning on part-6 of the rollover very soon. (not sure what to giveaway just yet)

Do you think we can get a picture of the original scout by the way? It looks like a nice old one.

The sodbuster should be a great compliment to my chestnut swayback jack, and I'm sure it will see work out in the vineyard. (It might take over my no7 Opinel as my dedicated backpocket food knife)
