I just got a DA SOCOM and guess what?? The Microtech sheath that came with it fits my BM42 like a glove. It's the perfect size for it. Maybe Benchmade should have gotten Microtech to do their sheath.
 
Actually Microtech doesn't make their sheaths. Another sheath company just sells blanks and other companies slap on their logos.
 
Hehe...maybe Benchmade shoulda contacted them to get their sheaths made instead of the POS that came with the 42.
