Which Spydie I edc EVERYDAY. I am an electrician, I strip wires, open boxes and trim a cigar from time to time.
Here is a list of my knives

Manix
Cricket
Spin
Lil Temp
kiwi
Paramillie
Jester
Dodo
Native
Ronin
Spydercard

What would be in your pocket?

I want to say Spydercard, since it has a hole that I am assuming can be used to trim cigars. It's also light and thin.

I would probably EDC the Lil Temp or Para (Out of those knives).

I can see the Cricket being useful. No pointy tip to poke things, good blade size for small spaces and the recurve makes the cutting edge seem much longer than it actuall is. And it should make a great little cigar cutter.

I should also mention that the Cricket is becoming my favorite Spyderco.

What would be in MY pocket? All of the above and a few others, too.:D What would I put in YOUR pocket for what you do? Probably a Dodo.;)

The Dodo has been my constant EDC. I never leave it at home on a workday. The short hawkbill cuts insulation with precision, and it cuts the cigars very nicely. I give it a lick on Smith ceramic rods every few days or so, it works like a sharpmaker, but the rods are round. It works well on the reverse S blade.
I have 2 other Dodos for backup.
The Cricket is on my keychain.
Next most carried, mostly on weekends, is the Paramillie.
Then the Lil Temp, Naitve and Ronin.
The others get out when the mood strikes.
I love the Dodo.

I am very attached to the small hawkbill. The Manix is a very heavy knife, something I would like to have on a camping trip. can you imagine a Manix size hawkbill? i can!

I was going to guess the Dodo but now it looks like I am too late. I used to carry a Para. I work on elevators so I have to strip wires and open boxes ect as well.

I have carried several knives at work trying to find one that works best.
I started out with a Kershaw PE Vapor (worked well actually for the price). Since then I have carried:
Spyderco:
Endura PE (Endura II), CE and SE, Police SS PE, Delica CE, Para PE, Harpy SE, Dodo PE, Rescue CE and PE, Renegade CE, and one or two others.

I have tried many of them and some worked well (Para, Enduras) and some not as well for what I used them for (Harpy, Rescue, Dodo). I have also carried a couple of other brands like CRKT M-16s. I think they make a decent cheap knife for work BTW. What I carry at work now is my blue CE Benchmade 921 Switchback!

I know, I know, I am a big Spyderco fan and I carry a Benchmade! I only have two BMs but I have about 30 Spydercos. I have had about another 60 Spydercos that I have traded off. I have owned maybe 6-7 Benchamdes in my life and close to 100 Spydercos. It is jus that the 921 Switchback is almost perfect for what I use a knife for at work. I do have a couple of Spydercos that would probably work just as well (Centofante II, R-2, G-10 Police) but I don't want to risk them at work.

It may seem strange to carry a $100+ BM over a Centofante II that I got for $65 because I don't want to risk it but that is how I feel.

One word of warning on that 921 - the small blade is rather delicate. I snapped one off cutting silicone caulking off the edge of a ceramic tile. They offered to replace the blade, but told me it wasn't suitable for heavy duty tasks like that. I guess I should have used a $0.99 razor scraper instead.:jerkit: If you are going to use it for a beater at work, save that Centofante and use the BM, the Cento II seems harder to find.
