I know this is a lil premature...but I'm very very excited. Golden Retriever inna Frisbee factory level of excited.


Researching Becker knives is what lead me to BladeForums in the first place, after a long hiatus from "gearing-up" I finally ordered my first Becker! I was torn, couldn't decide which one to get first...so I simply flipped a coin LOL.

I will reveal the model I chose when it arrives. Pics and whatnot will follow as soon as it's in my grubby, sweaty paws.

Proud "owner" of a Becker for about 5 minutes....can I have a # now? LMAO

I have a feeling this is just the first of many. I like anything I have ever seen with the Becker logo on it, I wanna own 'em all! I really like those new tweeners and just so hapens they debut right before my birthday so I'm taking that as a sign I ''need'' one.

....not a big fan of the "tweener" name BTW. I understand it mean "in between" but it just makes me think of 11 year old Bieber-loving brats LOL

They're just unofficially called tweeners, now they're called "shorts". After about 6 pages of naming ideas on here, shorts was the best they had. Either way I can't wait to get one either. You picked a helluva good time to join the circle.

They are called the BKT Shorts. Short Drop Point, Short Clip Point and Short Trailing Point.

got my email from Amazon....it mailed today! ETA aint until the 15th tho, I may go ka-razy before then waiting LOL. I shoulda signed up for the prime and got the free 2-day shipping instead of the free 5-7 day shipping. GRRRRRRRR hindsight is 20/20 and all that.

I'm trying to break the habit. Its hard, with Ethan still calling them Tweeners.

I do like the idea of Short this or Short that, but it would have been cooler if they had an awesome moniker.

I think they should name them after us mods. Drop Point= BK16 Moose, Clip Point= BK15 Biscuit, Trailing Point= BK17 Bladite.

But thats just me.

No matter what they call it, I want one of the clip-points! They could call it BK-SissyPinkWussKnife and I'd still buy one.



...I'm spending my wait-time perusing the archives, figuring out what mods I wanna do. All I can say is that grapefruit and paint stripper is on my shopping list

Tons of informational "how-To" threads and pictorials on here. Excellent job! Thank you to all the smart people who share their knowledge on this forum, makes the learning curve a LOT easier for us noobs.
