It's me! Haha. Sorry I've been gone for so long everyone, but it's been hard for me to get on an internet connection here on base that isn't blocked to ths website (for "chat" purposes). I arrived here at Ft. Huachuca in AZ back on March 18th, and I'm still not in class for my training yet! Too few instructors for my MOS, and I missed this last class start by 4 people! It was quite irritating. Word is the next class doesn't start till Oct. 2nd. *sigh* But anyways... enough about me...

So to start things back off, I was wondering if anyone has purchased or seen Cold Steel's tomahawk fighting video set? I'm thinking of trying to talk my wife into letting me buy a good "instructional" 'hawk fighting dvd set to compliment Dwight's awesome book. I know there's a few other instructional dvds out there (anybody got James Keating's videos on hawk fighting?), but I'm specifically wondering about this one just because I've just got done watching their "Solid Proof" dvd. It is pretty convincing. Haha.

I'm also going to search and bring my "Tomahawk Q&A" thread back to the top, just to give some people a taste of what kind of experts we have on these boards. I know Mr. McLemore is still around, but the other's might need re-invited if a specific question needs answered.

I just talked to James Keating and purchased his 1st 'hawk video. Right now, it's the only one available in DVD format. He said #2 might be available soon, but he isn't sure. I'll start up a new thread about it after I get it and have a chance to review it.

But anyway, so no one has seen Cold Steel's tomahawk fighting set? :(
 
Hi , I hope you get your training soon . I too wouldn,t mind seeing different hawk techniques .

I mostly throw for sport and use one with a hammer poll for some camp chores .
 
Kevin, check out my review, then if you like what you hear, check out the training materials thread. It's got a link to Jim's website where you can get the dvd. They're saying I shoudl be in class by Oct. 2. We'll see...
