After speaking with Heather at CRK, she wanted for me to send my knife back because of a sticking lock bar. I was wondering if anybody had any idea how long the turnaround time is. I sent it out Tuesday, boy do I miss that knife.

I was told to send my small vines in to be looked at as the nimrod that had it before did not put it together right and the one bronze washer may have been rubbed prematuraly. She told me referb. was 10 days. I dont know if thats the total time they have it, or they expect it to be returned to you in that time. Its an idea anyways. I dont wanna send mine in as I will go through massive withdrawl without my small vines sebbie in my pocket.........

I had one Seb gone for about 8 days around Christmas this past year. That's eight days including the travel time. I've used their CS a couple of other times, too, and my Sebs have never been away more than 12 days.

'Course, the time of year and where you live all factors into that. I haven't used them in the last few months, but I can promise you that they'll be as fast as anybody and faster than most gettin' your knife back to you.

I had my seb sent in right after the first of the year to have the lockbar repaired and while it was there I had them install the double silver lugs and refinish the handles.

All this work, and from leaving my hands to returning back to my pocket was 8 days as well.

I hate to say that I have to send mine in as well..... It turns out it wasnt a good idea to take mine apart in the kitchen at work, with all those drains on the floor. Both washers slipped out of my hands and went straight into the drain.....:(

After speaking to Heather on the phone, she said that all washers are hand fitted as well, so they have made it a policy that they cant send out washers for us to hand fit.

Its not that big of a deal to me, but its going to be a looooong week for me, I tell you what. I have to pack her up Monday (missed the UPS next day deadline in my town [11am], even though Boise is about 6 hrs away, go figure) and send her back in.

Is there any way that I can request them to resharpen my knife at a specific degree? I love the edge that I put on mine, but the tip is somewhat rounded (early attempts w/Sharpmaker) and I like a 30 degree inclusive edge.
