guide to stars?

I have an ok view of the stars from my backyard. I am looking for an online guide to them-something very basic, that outlines the general location of the constellations and their shapes. Orion is my biggest regerence point, as he is right over my house, so I', looking to find the other major constellations relative to his position. Thanks, Joe

Hey Dijos, If you can send me a p.m. with your address I'll send you a CD of astronomy freeware I've gathered over the years.

Or you can hunt up your own at the usual trustworthy freeware sites:

I've even found a small freeware PocketPC astronomy program. I'll hunt up the name for you if you have a Windows-based handheld.
