Man, I missed meeting almost everyone that I wanted to meet. I had a chance to meet Dwayne, and it was great.

I came down to enjoy the show and mull around, but ended up in a perpetual 3 day meeting. Next year, I'll be the guy in the trenchcoat and fake beard.

Sorry I missed you guys ... Neil, Ricardo and SRJ.

BTW ... I saw Steve win the Red Watson award. Now, that was cool!

You wouldn't believe the knives that were there! Easily there was a hundered knives I wanted to take home with me.

If I had to pick one knife, I have to go with Brian Tighe's dress "Tighe-Stick".

Neil, it was nice to meet you, & you too Alex! Had a blast, The cronk award was won by Rick Eaton if I'm not mistaken, I know he won one of the big awards, but it's hard for me to keep it all seperate, There's just to much to pack in over a three day weekend. it was an awesome time. I've got a certain type of knives that really get me slobbering, mostly slip joints & other folders but I just really love knives. I don't know how many of you guys got to play with Harvey Dean's D gaurd bowie but it is awesome, words can't describe. It should be in one of the upcoming magizines, I think Blade, Point seven is doing a neat photo of it. & there were just too many to recall, I'm looking forward to finding some of them on CKD, Arizona knives, & Lavine's page. I look at those three sites a couple of times a week looking for new pictures, talk to yall later, Dwayne

Dwayne,

I enjoyed stopping by your table and chatting for a bit. (And your knives look pretty damned good already.)

And I agree with you, Harvey Dean's piece was something else.

Hey, are you guys talking about Harvey's Folding D-guard Bowie?
I still remember that knife from Blade, it was pointed out to me by several MS. It was amazing, and it wasn't even finished at that point. I can only imagine what it looks like now.
