I now that this is off topic but.
I`m so impressed with this kid(17yrsold) I
thought I would tell you. If I `ve played as
well has he does at 17 I would still be playin.
He does a danm GOOD job at singin the blues an that
guitar is just tops.

He`s got one cd out an workin on another one. I was
lucky enough to hear the new one be for they started
to mix it, an it`s better then the first one.

Sorry about postin off topic but I`m very impressed

He`s as good with the guitar as Bruce Evans is
makin his Bowies. Do I need to say more
 
I don't mind going off-topic at all. Always appreciate hearing about new talent, esp. the blues. We recently had two young blues acts pass thru northern MN.- the Keller brothers and Randy McAllister. All were in their very early 20's, incredibly talented, and really rocked the blues!!! Good to know there's another generation wantin' to keep the blues alive!:D
 
Oughta try listenin' to some Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown...
Dang!!! Not bad for a 78 year old blues man.

Thanks for the compliment Sylvester...Glad everybody likes my Bowies...
And Heck I just gave Donna a manicure and pedicure this evening..Sorry I am getting to old and out of shape (take that as getting round in the belly) for the rest,that was when I was younger and a little more crazy..:D :p :D...Heck the first picture Donna showed her MOM of me,was of me stripping,And I hadn't even met her Mom yet and didn't find this out until after I had met her Talk about embarrasing...
But dang at all the beautiful Woman I met over the years even though none can hold a candle to Donna even now...
Here is a hint guys want your wife to just have a fit and love all over you,Polish her nails sometime and give here that little bit of attention,she will reward you with nights of saying "why don't you just stay in with me tonight and we will go to bed early";)
Thats the next best thing to making a knife that I know of :cool:
Now if I can just keep consentrating on my Bowies after Donna gets home from work and gets in the pool outside the main work bench window and starts floating around in her B-Day suit,man that makes it real hard to consentrate...lucky I can get anything done then,I usually end up hurting myself if I don't shut the blinds and then she laughs at me:p :cool: :p

I heard some AMAZING 17yr old girl on NPR while coming back from an NCCKMG meeting earlier this year. I'm not a blues fanatic, but if this little girl can play blues guitar like that at 17, she must need some serious therapy. I can't remember her name, but it was on Praerie Home Companion.
So ah, Bruce, when's that hammer in at your shop again? ;)
Can you put a nail painting tutorial on your website? LOL
 
Hey, lets not get Bruce started, it will be painting nails and he will have a video of him doing a striptease. :eek: :eek: :eek:
 
bruce e, how about a line of nail colors and a how to video for knife makers, that is about nail painting of course :D lets see? temper blue? straw yellow? quench orange? LOL :)

Nail painting is to easy no need for a tutorial:D LOL
I will tell you guys a little trick for the next time the little lady breaks a nail around the shop,Just take a piece of tissue and tear a piece small enough to fit her nail and put it on the nail then cover it with a couple coats of your super glue then take a small piece of fine sand paper and smooth it off and smooth the edge then take some of your nail polish you have to resist a blade with and polish here nail.She will wonder were you have been hanging out at,but she will be impressed that you can do it;)
He-He I know lots of little tricks like this that will shock the ladies and make them love you more..

Hey Rhino..You know that might be a cool idea,You know we are getting more and more ladies making knives and they might just like a line of colors for them..
I used to air brush ladies nails also.I did a really cool set that looked like the flames on my banner,and I would do Tiger striped nails in the colors to match ladies bathingsuits...When I was doing these I had the ladies at a bunch of schools have me come in a teach them how to do them as nobody else could figure them out and now I see them in the play nails for little girls,Guess I should have got my name on those15 years ago when I figured them out,and I would custom mix colors to match prom dresses..
Heck I used to have fun doing the wild nails for ladies,Not to mention the fun on the side from the cute younger ones:p and some of the cute older ones to;)
Ladies love attention and love to be spoiled,I learned from them that they loved it when a man would go buy them cute clothes and lingerie or help them pick them out instead of just saying what ever you want honey,They want to be noticed..
Give them this little attention and the next time you say I need this for the shop they will just smile and sure Honey if it will help you do better;)
But don't blame me if they start trying to keep you in the house and love on you allot more ;) You know you are doing things right when the little ladie shows up in the shop late at night wearing only a robe and when she gets in the shop looses that and says It's time for bed honey and if you want some of this you will come with me:cool:
