I talked to Mark a little more about how he does this. He draws the designs in a computer program then the engraving is done by Laser. The laser is a 200 watt nd:YAG laser made by Foba, GMBH.

He has been self employed and engraving since 1976.
His technical expertise is in Mold and Die engraving for the
Coining and Jewelry industries.

I asked him if the heat generated from the laser would interfere with the heat treat on a blade. He said the piece is warm to the touch but is not under the laser long enough to generate that much heat.

Thank you Geobar, I'm glad you like it!:D
