Wave like opener like Ernest Emerson does on his folders? That's new territory. Don't think Darrel has ever done something like that, though models like the Mad Maxx can be opened like a wave.
Neuron's got one that's pretty spectacular. He's too busy playing with it right now to take pictures though. It's san mai with an m390 damascus core if I'm not mistaken.
As far as being able to get one specced out like in that pic, it's definitely possible. If you have the money, he'll do it. I don't really think Darrel has exclusives in the sense that he retires an existing knife after one is made. I think the only exception is if someone asked for something specific, that is unique to one particular knife, and asked Darrel not to make copies of that knife. But even so, I could be wrong.
The one you see there has a stelite core if I remember right.
