Gun/Knife Shows-when and where?

Hi, everyone I've never been to a knife or gun show compounded with the fact that I am new (less than two years) to the Central Florida area. I am really looking to attend a knife show but don't know how or where to look for such an event in my area. Should I be searching for gun show events or outdoor sporting type event shows (I've searched for Knife Shows but came up with nothing)? If anyone could and would point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

From my experience if you can't find a knife show I'd look into gun shows for the most part where theirs guns theirs knives

Unfortunately, none of my local friends share my hobby. I think guns and knives go hand in hand and will thus look for gun shows. Thanks.

All of the gun shows I know of are advertised in the classifieds of the local newspapers. Also, the NRA publishes many upcoming gun shows monthly in American Rifleman. (You are a member, aren't you?)

If you are in Central Florida it is not an unreasonable drive to the Blade Show in Atlanta, which is usually in early June and which no knife nut should go through life without attending.Heck, I don't even plan to go through one year without attending. Google Blade Show 2013.

Good advice given, and you could also Google the weekend dates, Gun or knife show, and the cities near you.

Not a good time to go to a gun show right now, as many buyers are in a hyped up frenzy. It should calm down in a few months,but may be longer. A friend of mine went to a show this weekend and waited in line for two hours. When he got in he couldn't find the ammo or gun he was wanting. We usually go together, but I told him no way at this time.
