Over this weekend (19-21)I went down to the 1500 Indiana Gun and Knives show. I was sort of dissapointed that there were not any nice Balisongs. There was only (1)BM42 in the whole thing and it was $160. The rest were the little rostfrei's and Jags(which I have nothing against) but there was just no variety of them. To bad that guy with the Philipino Bali's has'nt come back.

Things may never get better, but they can always get worse.

It is no secret that BM caters to the "Retail" Brick & Mortar store....I work the internet & the shows as well, and I have managed to scrape up a total of 4 Bali's since Blade Show of 2000. The last one I posted in the dealer section lasted 3 minutes

The Bali's are not making it to the distributors at all

Last fall people would have them. I saw them in stock sometimes at Northwest Cutlery and Knifezilla. However, a lot of people ordered for Christmas. Everybody I've called is waiting for a shipment at the end of the month. I was lucky to get that one from mpayne on the for-sale forum.

Looking for good balisongs at good prices is pretty much hit or miss at Knife/Gun shows. Last year you still saw Benchmade,PC and other quality balisongs popping up on dealer tables at good prices. However most people seem to be aware of their value and how much they are sought after and sell them at high prices.
