I dont mean to offend anyone, but why is it that gun company knives (i.e berreta, S&W)
suck? the companies make the best guns in the world, but put their name on the crappiest knives. Collaborations are also pretty crappy (boker & HK)

please help

I would have to agree with you on that, not to be rude to anyone that owns one of these knives but I was just never to fond of them??

The average firearms company subcontracts the production of its knives to a knife company -- for instance, United Cutlery's Colt blades or the Smith and Wesson knives on the market. You're dealing with different companies, so of course the quality levels will differ in comparison.

I think it's unfair to state, wholesale, that these knives "all suck." As with any manufactured product, some examples are better than others.
