Just did my first knife in GunKote, it is pretty neat stuff. Got a couple of runs though, normal spraying screwups. It sure is hard as a rock, but I have found out it does chip though. Does anyone know how it holds up to the wear and tear of a kydex sheath...the in and out action over and over?

Kydex won't wear on it...but crud between the sheath and Kydex will.

I've used alot of GunKote as well as KalGard and had good luck with it.

You can also parkerize a blade then GunKote over it....works good and my carry .45 Commander is done like this.

What does the parkerize do for it...camo under the kote incase of chipping. Does anyone know where to get the torx screws for attaching scales, thanks.
