Hey everyone. I'm getting my first handgun this weekend (been mostly into shotguns) and I need to have a portable safe for it. I'm seeking opinions on whether to get a biometric and combo or just plain combo. The gun will be a Ruger P95 and I'll want to store the mag with it.
I've heard both good and bad about biometrics just as you do on everything you look into buying but I trust the opinions here. Please help me out.

Oh, I did a search for my answers but didn't find anything but I know it's annoying to answer the same questions over and over so if someone recalls seeing this subject before, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Get a good digital lock. They are relatively cheap, very reliable, very durable, and very easy to use. My S&G's have been in use for over a decade without a lick of trouble.

I have a Barska biometric. I have zero complaints. Faster than a code and easier.

Pros... You can't get lucky with a combination I suppose.
Cons... More expensive than comparable safes without bio.

Thank you both! I'm researching Barska. I've found that GunVault is pretty inconsistent.
