Going to the local gun show Saturday. My neighbor needed me to pick him up a magazine for his S&W. I feel like spending some money also, such as a SAK Farmer or a Spyderco. What would you guys buy, If you only wanted to spend $100.00 dollars? My gun show is a combo of a knife, military, and gun show, so they always have all the major knife brands.

my experience with gun shows is that all the knives are overpriced and usually just thrown into a pile so already show wear before you even purchase them. I would get a Paramilitary 2 of an online store personally.

What are you looking for in a knife? Its hard to give advice if you dont tell us

specifically what you're looking for...what size, steel choices, etc, etc, etc.

I totally agree with the first poster...prices at gun/knife can be high unless

you know knife prices Should be.

Go to the show, handle some knives then go home and go online to order it. I hate gun show prices for knives.

Really? I have always found really good prices on knives at mine. Maybe it is just your are. But that is a good idea. Thanks man.

I've gotten good deals on guns at shows, but never knives. In fact, nothing in recent times either, the price of everything has gone up ridiculously in person, I try and buy strictly online now, both guns and knives.

There have been times in the past where I have gotten good prices on folders that I've picked up at local gun shows....although the cost of the Spyderco Military that I picked up last week was equal to the total price that I would have paid online including the shipping. I suppose that it would depend on your area but some of the dealers that I've dealt with were open to working out a deal.....guess making some money is better than not making any at all.

I have seen good deals at gun shows, for example I got a NIB Spyderco Sprint Run Endura for 55$...
