Greetings all,
Just thought I would share a few photos of the old timer I rescued from the evil gun show dealer. I paid a whopping $15 for this and have been trying to figure out what year it was made, and approximate value. I do have the original sheath as well.
All I did to restore it was use Flitz, and a lot of elbow grease, to get the steel to look better. I may go at it again with flitz to see if it will improve at all. I have not put an edge on it yet, it cleaned up ok, still has some scratches and patina.
I welcome any suggestions for further improvement.
