This past week has been a good one. On Monday I received a Hamilton Khaki. It's a good looking watch, and best of all it's automatic. I've been wanting a mechanical watch for a while now, and hopefully this'll tide me over until I save enough money for a Panerai. 
Yesterday at long last I started exercising my 2nd Amendment rights. I picked up my first firearm, a Ruger 22/45. I bought this gun because I don't have any experience with pistols and I know I want to get a 1911 some day. This pistol will allow me to learn the basic fundamentals without denting my knife budget too much. I spent yesterday reading over the instruction manual; I wish the disassembly section came with more pictures.
I think this is a pretty good haul. I should buy myself stuff more often!
