Gunner Grip Gun Grips

Nice!!!!! I want a pair!!! Any chance of a Wrap around version for 1911's?? I got about 8 pair of grips for my Kimber and always looking for another. Everytime I change them, I feel like its a new gun :)

NGK, the texture is pretty aggresive, but not so much that it is uncomfortable after an extended shooting session. They are not quite as aggresive as the grips on the combat knives I make.

Bag Guy, no wrap arounds, G-10 dosent bend too good! :)

Minjin, what model? These grips arent handmade, (anymore) I plan on trying the S&W J Frame, and perhaps the various Berreta's.

The grips would be for a Baby Eagle 9mm, so this would be a fairly small market for you. I can certainly understand if you try to take care of the popular guns first.

However, consider that there is next to no aftermarket grips for this gun so you'd have a near monopoly. ;)

Thanks for replying.

Minjin, that was funny! Monopoly on after market Baby Eaglr grips! :D

I am trying to stick to grips that are flat on the back for now. Machine and program time is expensive!

The P7 crowd would be a nice market to tap into. They tend to have a little more disposable income. The only after market grip is by Nill, who offers high end wooden stocks.

Take a look here and search for grips. Several discussions on carbon fiber grips and alternate materials. G-10 might be it

Rob,

I'd definately be interested in grips for my HK P7. If you want, I can strip my P7 and send you the grips to make a template. let me know, as i think this would be a great project.

Thankd for the offer Jeremy, after we get the tweaks done on the 1911 grips and if there is enough interest I may just take you up on that. Is your P7 the P7M8? From what Ive read there isnt many choices for aftermarket P7 grips!

Rob,

Mine is the M8. Picked it up this past October at a gun show in Tulsa. I'd be more then happy to send you the grips if there is enough interest. I have a Compact USP or Kimber ultra CDP to take it's place for carry while the grips are in your hands. Just let me know.

Rob, about P7 grips. With the exception of M8 or M13 molded into them, the grips for those two are the same. I'm not sure about the older PSP's which had the heel mag release. Unfortunately, the back of the grip panels are much more involved than a 1911. I hate to be the voice of doom, but if machine/programming time are a problem, I can't see you wanting to get involved in HK. It's all part of being a P7 owner, you get what the Germans give you ;)

Rob: Those grips look real official. Sorry that my wrist won't let me play with my Swenson Conversion any more.
