I fully expect you to lock this when you read it. It has no knife content and clearly doesn't belong here. My reason for putting it here is to be sure Gunner reads it.

As I said in my other post, I have stayed out of the controversy that surrounds you because I felt sorry for you. You also were too easy of a target for me to feel anything but guilt if I would have posted about you. So that I am completely honest with you, I have discussed your actions in a private e-mail with another forum member. I kept it private for the above reasons. Things have changed considerably since then. I am going to try and do my best to not attack you needlessly, but rather address your actions and hope that you explain them.
I was hoping you would explain them in the "Some more of my designs" thread, but it got locked. (As it should have) From the start, in my own mind, I pegged you as someone who wanted to get something for free. There is nothing wrong with that, I enter every contest I can and sincerely hope I win every one of them. That is the purpose with most contests. They openly encourage people to enter and win something for free. The difference between that and what you have done is that you have shown no compunction with misrepresenting (lying) yourself to fellow forumites, moderators, and makers, in your quest to get a free knife. I think you owe everyone an explanation for your behavior. Help us understand why you would trade your personal integrity and reputation for a piece of steel. Don't insult our intelligence with an apology either. It has gone way beyond that. You have shown a propensity to play the victim role. To do or say something that reveals your true colors, draw people's ire, and then apologize and get other forum members to insult the people who saw you for what you really are. I doubt that there is anyone left who will go down that road with you anymore. You really don't owe me an explanation since you never drew me into the name calling. Don't you feel that you do owe one to the people you involved in your drama's? One thing I have learned from my 11 months of lurking and posting, people here are very forgiving of an occasional bonehead move. You have used up your apologies. It's time for you to give your explanation and then move on and NOT come back under an alias.

Gunner, I don't wish you any ill will. On the contrary, I hope you come to realize the value of earning something through hard work. If you don't, you will be in for a pretty tough life.
 
If you are going to make strong statements which you have done, you should take the time to be specific. What exactly are you referring to and what proof do you have.

While right now various threads are current and fresh in peoples mind, a few months from now they will not be and an accusation of this nature should be self-contained.

It should also be in the GB&U and if you want to make sure Gunner reads it, send him an email.

You are correct. That is one reason I try not to post out of emotion. The main thing that got me to post this was Ron Hoods post in the thread entitled- "Here are some more of my designs." I am leaving for work right now but I want to make sure I answer this, so bear with me. In it, Gunner states that Mike Fuller asked him to taylor his designs to the type of knife TOPS makes. I am not quoting exactly on this. Ron Hood states in his post that Mike Fuller told him this was false. Ron also stated that Gunner told Mike that he was a survival instructor and could do Mike some good. Ron also stated that Gunner asked for a free big knife from Mike, which I took as Gunner asking for in return for his services. Ron then went on to say that Gunner falsly stated that Ron told him he would use one of his ghillie suits in a video of his. I also remember Gunner saying this when he was trying to trade/sell one of his ghillie suits. I apologize that I don't have that specific post for everyone but I will try and track it down later. Mike Fuller is the maker I was talking about, Ron Hood the moderator, and anyone who read his posts about Ron using his suit would be the forumites. I didn't appreciate him using other people's good reputation to falsely improve our opinions of his designs or ghillie suit. When I am talking about him drawing people into his drama's and getting them to call each other names, I was mostly referring to the locked thread that was called- "Here are some of my designs."
I do appreciate you calling me on this Cliff, as I didn't take posting this lightly.

I shouldn't have needed you to tell me to drop Gunner an e-mail, but I did. When I was done with my last post, I sent him one alerting him to it's presence. I also apologized to him for not doing it right away. Thanks again for calling me on it and for providing the link.

GUNNER, does any of this sound familiar to you? I said just about the same thing to you in an e-mail. I now believe you to be without honor or integrity, and I don't belive you would know the truth if it bit you in the a$$. I don't think you are what you appear to be. You're not innocent and humble, you're a con artist and a fake. "You can fool some of the people some of the time...but you can't fool all of the people all of the time." I banned Gunner AKA Knifeman from the Hoodlums forum after several complaints. One of the complaints was from another forum operator who stated in part;

"In my experience, this man is trouble. We banned him from our private xxxxxxx areas last year after repeated complaints about him from our users concerning swindling and lying. I was inundate with requests for his IP info so that users could track him down to retrieve money and trade items. I've known him on the internet for many years, he is a pathological liar in the true clinical sense, yet it's actually hard to dislike him even after he's cheated you. When caught, He follows his "mis-statements" with long letters of public admission and apology, vowing to never repeat the act, yet returns to "business as usual" within a week or so."

Our personal experience and the experiences of some of our forum members suggests that it may be a good idea to put people on alert.

Currently he complains that this is all a case of "mistaken identity". If it is I will be the first to apologize. However our personal experience with the man, over a five month period, was such that I doubt very much an apology will be forthcoming.

i for one am amazed at the audacity of this jerk! lying thruogh his teeth constantly and begging free knives and has the colossal nerve to quote scripture in his signature??? if there has ever been reason to ban someone from these forums, what more does it take??

Hey BT! I thought the same thing. Everyone told me No, No, No! GRUBBER was just TOO Stupid to be Zane, I thought it was a perfect disguise, a scam. I mean really, GUNNER was too stupid to remember to breath, how could he get into college, (even in Canada) This guy was a House Plant!
 
No guys, I think he does have a survival school, I heard about it on TV.
