I've only read positive things about Gunny Juice on this forum and other places. Googling around I stumbled across his Gunny Cloth stropping pads here: https://www.omahaknife.com/shop/gunny-cloth-composite-stropping-pads/

Has anyone used these? I literally can't find any mention of them anywhere on the internet besides that web page. I have no idea why you would want a thicker or thinner one and also it seems they need to be mounted to some hard backer that the user needs to provide which seems annoying. I'm in the market for stropping everything and these are intriguing but I'm not going to purchase with so little information available.

looks like hes making his own "nano cloth" or a material he has found works really well to hold his emulsion as well as to keep cutting and probably not glaze over so fast, ive stropped on about 10 substrates and majority work if you use the right pressures and angles for that material. some just seem to work better. for example i like using paperstock with a vasoline diamond powder mix after applying the paste i put a lighter or torch to it to absorb the vasoline. my favorite substrate is cereal box cardboard. just thin enough to mount to a hard backer and it keeps cutting even once really black with steel swarf
