Guns & Ammo "combat knives" ??

Hi all!

I've been trying to get the latest issue of this mag. no luck here in Sweden

I did a search for "Combat Knives magazine" and came up with nothing.
If it's put out by the same people that publish Guns and Ammo, they're not exactly letting anyone know about it.
I went to their home page, http://www.petersenco.com/subscriptions/ , and didn't see Combat Knives listed.
If you're sure that they're the ones that publish it, I suggest that you email them and ask about Combat Knives.
If it's still available, I'm sure that they'd send it to you.

I have a copy from sometime in during the past year. It is not a regular publication, more of a special like the surplus arms mag. they put out every so often. I'll look around and see if I can find a new edition

I may be wrong,but I thought I heard they are no longer publishing combat knives mag anymore.I used to see it at the store,and I can't find it either.

It's not a regular item. I can't even tell you how often they do come out.

I have two copies (that I know of). One from '98 and one from 2000. Right above the UPC symbol on the 2000 issue it says "Display until January 10, 2000. So I don't think your going to have any luck locating a copy.

I've seen three issues of Combat Knives and it is put out by Petersons Publishing. It was only an annual magazine, but last year they had two issues and the last I heard they we're going to be bi-annualy. I've been keeping my eyes peeld and have not seen an issue this year yet. I'm sure if it comes out some forumite would pick you up a copy, just let us know!

Combat knives is a seldom published periodical from Peterson's and God only knows when the next one will be coming out. I have never ben able to find surplus copies but when the next issue comes out i can buy an extra and mail it to you if that is okay.But you got to give me a tour of the coolest bar in the world next time i am in Sweden.

Combat Knives is gone with no immediate plans for another issue in the works. This, according to my advertising contact at Petersen Publishing. I was told that they had been tossing the idea around of changing the title, then was told the project was shelved.

Shame, it was a great publication.

it's packed away somewhere in a shipping container and hopefully it will be re-built somewhere in Sweden (i'm not very hopeful though...) sad story, it was a great place to swing a few cold one's and talk 'bout the day. *sigh*
