Alright, I know we have a bunch of gun guys on here so here is your chance to speak up. Whats your favorite? I will keep mine to one auto, revolver, and rifle.
CZ75 compact mega worked over. Its been my EDC for about 10 years and has never had an issue. All steel, wicked accurate, and its compact.
Smith and Wesson Model 19 nickel finish. Big and heavy but smooth as silk trigger and just a beautiful gun. Its my bedside weapon.
Mossberg 46b .22 rifle. This one was refinished by me, bedded, everything. It will shoot dime sized groups from 100 yards with the peep sights and even better with a scope. Perfect size, weight, and feel. Just an awesome rifle.

Mostly a handgun guy myself, so let me be the first on this thread to say it...thats right you guessed it....
1911 .45 acp. I have several so a favorite would be hard to pick. Also Springfield Armory XDm 9mm.
Hard to argue with 19 rounds in the clip + 1 in the pipe. Carry an extra clip and you've got almost a whole
box of ammo. Just for plinking fun it's a Ruger 10/22 with 2 or 3 30 round clips.

ok...here we go.

My first gun ever was a Remington 870 Magnum Express in 12 gauge with wood stock. Its the main farm gun when the wild dogs come after the chickens
(as a side note...I bought Ashley an 870 with black composite stock and the short 18'' barrel for our 3rd anniversary. She is scarey accurate with that thing)

I am a huge fan of lever guns. I have one in 22LR, 357MAG, 44MAG, and 45-70 my favorite is the 357MAG (all of these are Marlin's)

Hand gun wise I have two that I love, but don't shoot much because they are old. I have a Beretta model 35 made in 1940 that belonged to my Mom's dad. He brought it back from the war. the other is my Dad's father's Colt 1911 that was his service gun in WWII. Both in excellent condition and still working like the day they were made. My first handgun that I purchased was a Glock 19. Still have it, still love it. I have a few other pistols, but mostly I carry my H&K USP in 40Cal. It just works for me. I got a sweet deal on it to. Only cost me $400.00 :D

My main plinker is a 22LR bolt action with a scope. Winchester Wildcat if i remember correctly. Beautiful wood stock, heavy barrel and very accurate.

I have a Thompson Center-fire Varmint Rifle chambered in 22-250. Using a vice I cited it in at 900 yards within 1 MOA. The thing is awesome. I have since them re-zeroed it at 300 yards. No need to shoot 900 yards, but its nice to know it can be done.

I have never felt the need to get an AR type gun because i carry one at work, but My dream gun right now is a Tactical M40 made by Tactical Rifles (http://www.tacticalrifles.net/tactical_m40.asp)

Other than that I am currently in the process of trying to figure out which revolver I want to purchase. I really like 357MAG both in versatility, and well just for the fun factor.

Anyway i probably missed a couple in there somewhere, but the above are my favorites:)

So no revolvers yet but for a handgun, Glock 21. It's the 21st century 1911 ;) For a rifle, my Noveske N4 AR15 in 5.56. I love that thing.

Not to be rude, but its magazines, NOT clips. Clips are what a M1 uses not a semi auto pistol. Sorry its a pet peve of mine :)

Just a born and breed country boy here. When it comes to guns, don't care
much what it's called. Long as it works when I pull the trigger!!!!

Pistol, springfield trp operator.

Revolver, Taurus judge...till I can get the smith and wesson governor.

Rifle, scar 17 308.

And for the record I can't stand the clips, magazine thing. I own a gun store and when people become gun snobs it drives me crazy. I know what you are talking about if you say clips or mags.

Here they are a Kimber tactical pro and Taurus m85 tit. With my Backwoods knifes of course.

I hear ya, its just one of those things that I always get onto my friends about. If they ask for a clip I give them a stripper clip and they're like WTF? Then they ask for the right part. They're two different things. Not trying to be snobby, blame the military :)

Well, now that we are onto pet peaves, mine is people saying "they're like" When they really mean "they said." What is that about glass houses and stones?

She prefers semi auto pistols...

My favorites?

A Dan Wesson .357 Mag that has lost most its' bluing, and looks like 40 miles of bad road.Fickle sumbitch; it only shoots 140 gr XTP-HP's over 19.0 gr of Win 296 powder w/ mag primers.....any other combo and it'll embarrass you.

My biggest pistol is a modified version of the 12gauge Mav 88; wears the recoil-reducing Blackhawk/KNOXX SpecOps stock. 20" barrel, and the black ugly brute holds seven in her belly & one in her mouth.Business end has a Brownell's Tritium front bead, a Beamshot 1001U laser for low light, and a 370-lumen Incendio V3+ for light-em-up.Quake sling & QuakeHush swivels. Can be shot one-handed.Prefers BB or #2 shot;does good with the Hornady Tac slugs,or 00 buck.Hates anything low-brass or 'reduced recoil'....that's what the stock is for. It just lays there quietly in the mattress holster....raise the muzzle four inches, and it's center-mass of the bedroom door....

Long guns are A-Bolts in .25 WSSM,.270 Win. and .270WSM.

Only .22 I own is a Walther nobody can identify for certain.Has a 26" bull barrel, double set triggers, single shot, drilled and tapped for a simple scope mount rail from the factory....no sights, nor provisions for sights....nearest guess is: possibly a factory 'works' rifle, made between 1919 & 1930.Several have said, borescope in hand: less than 200 rds. down the tube.None of the Walther dudes will appraise it as to value, but they all ask: What'll you take for it?

[ Gnarly was born @ night, but not last night.]

I love the 1911s!

I have a Kimber Raptor, and I have an Ed Brown Molon Labe on the way.

I just can't get into plastic guns. I appreciate that they're great guns, I just don't like the way they feel in my hand.

I have an HK USP 9 that's a tack driver, but I rarely take it to the range.

I also have a Hi-Power that's fun to shoot, but not very accurate.

Ruger P89 9mm. for me. It was my first handgun and I love it. It gets a little picky about the ammo I run through it, but it's a workhorse! I don't have any revolvers yet, but I'm keeping my eye out for something that strikes my fancy.

My favorite rifle is a Marlin .22 my Dad gave me 21 years ago when I was still a wee lad. Doesn't get used as much as my Bushmaster AR, but sentimental value and all that.

Auto: Sig P229 E2 9mm. Accurate, reliable, and durable. Though it may get bumped when I get my Sig P226 Combat.

Revolver: Ruger GP-100 .357 Mag. Tank tough, accurate, and versatile. It also has sentimental value as my first gun and my dad (who past away little over of year ago) bought mine and himself one so we could shoot together (we got consecutive serial #'s and it was his first handgun too).

Rifle: Remington 760 .308 Win pump action (based off the 870). Worked at a police equipment store for a few years and it was a local PD trade in. The gun is 30+ years old and in great condition and very accurate.

Auto- Glock Model 36 45 auto- good carry gun that has served me well for many years.

Revolver- 475 Linebaugh conversion on Ruger Bisley frame. 5 1/2" barrel. A real power house single action capable of taking anything that walks this earth with authority!! Shooting glove required!!!!!!!!!!

Rifle- Marlin 39d .22 LR, L, S, it was my first real rifle, owned it for 40 years. It has never let me down in tens of thousands rounds fired.
Next favorite rifle- Decked out Rock River Arms A4 in 5.56mm, great fire power at close and moderate ranges.

Ah, guns, no scales, handles, grips, jimping, patina, swedges, Damascus, etc. Now I don't have to read this post 4 times to be sure everything is correct before I send it to the thread . . . . :D
The following are the ones I would list as my "Never Sell or Trade Bunch" :
1) Handgun: Ruger Mark III .22cal. w/ optics
2) Handgun: Glock 34 9mm. w/ optics and laser
3) Handgun: H&K USP .45cal.
4) Rifle: Ruger 10/22 .22cal w/ optics
5) Rifle: Colt CAR-15 .223cal. w/ optics
6) Rifle: Savage 110-V .308cal w/ optics
7) Shotgun: Mossberg 590 A1 12ga. w/ optics, lights, & laser
You can't grow up on a farm and live in the country and just have only 7 guns, but these are the ones that get the most use, practice, and cleaned.
Now, back to all those grips, scales, and jimping stuff . . . . . . ;)
Be safe.

Man I didn't think I'd get so much flak for pointing out one thing is in fact another, I'm almost sorry I even said anything. You can call it whatever you want, I was just saying they really are two different things. If I were to say that my Mora had a convex grind (when in fact its a scandi grind) and someone corrected me, would they get as much flak? Since a pictures worth a thousand words, these should be worth a few thousand......
