I went to a Gun Show this past weekend. Locally, the gun shows in the Memphis area are not that good, nor are the knife stores...sadly. But, I got lucky, again. Last time I went, I bought a Canal Street Whittler in Buffalo Horn (no box) from a vendor for a nice price. This time I think I may have been a bit luckier...with the same vendor.
Being from Tennessee, I have always wanted to own an original Colonel Coon. Well...I kinda, sorta, got there. I had read this site before:

I was aware of the Colonel Coon stamped stockmans made by Colonial. Well, same vendor had two, one in white and one in jigged Delrin. Finances being what they are, I bought one, the jigged Delrin. This is a real nice knife.
Okay, it is not a Tennessee made Colonel Coon, but is an early 1980's marked Colonel Coon made specifically to held fund Tennessee Knife Works. I'll take that.
I think I may have figured out how to post pictures, so I will take some tonight and try to get them up. If I fail, my apologies. Just remember I have said before that I am technologically illiterate.
