Went to the gunshow this weekend. Saw the following:
BM-42S for $159 LOL :barf:
BM-42 for $105 :D
Advanced Tech Tiger for $125
Rusty Boker Top Lock II conversion $60 no $65 cuz I tried to talk him down.
Also saw an old 239S for $100.
Are these good prices for the Balisongs?

For 42, it is a good price. You should get it while you can. For 42S, I gotta admit, it's a bit ridiculous. The 42 and 42S should be on the same price level.

Advance tech, is a pretty good price too, but I prefer the 42.

The 42S price just reflects a "bad buy" on the dealers part..,as mentioned it should be the same price as the 42 ($105 is good)...grab it! :)

Last gun show I went to, I bought a 47BLK for $112 but the same table had a 42 for $130. GO figure, the newest bali was the cheapest :)

Yeah, you can often save a few bucks at a gun show. But, I still prefer to deal with one of my trusted local dealers. The extra service is worth a few more dollars.

The last gun show I went to really sucked.
Musketblade and I spent 6 hours parousing around, and found only one BM259 repinned and well used for $65.00, some china cheapies for $10.00, and one guy who REALLY wanted me to buy his Bear damascus. I passed them all up.
We ended up going to our favorite gun/knife store and both bought Ruger 10/22's. :D

We couldn't find any "deals" at the gunshow. Everybody knew exactly what their stuff was worth, and charged 10% above to accomidate the table charge.
