hey CJ just wanna get your opinion on the gunting, by spyderco, is it the best thing since sliced bead, or just another knife.....?

somewhere in between. If you are an LEO and need another force option, it may very well be the best to carry, but for me, I'd prefer an endura and a seperate maglite or kubaton. Bram Frank has a good video series out, and this can show you the potential this knife has, but it is not ideal for everyone. Extensive debate can be found in past threads about this. One thing no-one can say is that the gunting is badly designed. Every aspect of the knife is ideal for it's intended purpose, the question is, is an escalation of force in one tool your intended purpose?
