I'm not too familiar with the Gunting. If I can pick up a Gunting 440V for $119 NIB, is that a reasonably good price?
Thanks,
Gonzo

Thanks for the input. A local gunstore that ocassionally carries Spydercos has had it on the shelf for a couple of years. I don't know much about the Guntings. I bought one 3 or 4 years ago, but almost immediately traded it for some shiny bauble that caught my eye. If they are becoming more scarce and that is a good price, I suppose it might be worth adding to the collection.

Well, I decided it was too good of a deal to pass up. As I said, the knife was at a gun store that carries mostly BM and Emersons. They have had three Spyderco's in the display case for at least a couple of years: The Gunting; a Centafonte; and a Remote Release (or a Clip-it...not sure which). When I went by today, on the Gunting and the Centafonte were left. I handled the Centafonte and immediately feel in love with it. It is a plain edge with a silver medallion, blade #470. So, I did a "package deal", so to speak. I took their last two Spyderco knives for $200. I think I did OK. Thanks for the advice.

I think you just made a $100 profit. If you're thinking of flipping that Gunting, let me know....I sold mine for $85 3 years ago....and now want one again....
